Jenny Rivera, MSW, Chief Executive Officer
Appointed CEO in 2017, Jenny has been a leader at Aguila since 2013. Jenny is a committed social worker/administrator with more than 20 years of direct service practice in homeless services, mental health, HIV/AIDS and domestic violence, and extensive experience in non-profit program management, operations, financial management, and fundraising. With her strong leadership skills and commitment to the Bronx community, Ms. Rivera also mentors social workers and other professionals entering the fields of human services and education.
Walter Stewart, Chief Operating Officer
An accomplished business leader with expertise in project management, strategy, change management and operational risk, Walter joined the Aguila team in 2017. Walter previously served as Managing Director for The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, where he was responsible for monitoring the performance of the firm’s overall operations, reviewing and approving new business ventures, and served as an operational risk regulatory liaison. Walter also has experience in operations and risk management at Global Corporate and Investment Banking, Ernst & Young, and Bank of America.
