Aguila, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that partners with the City of New York to provide housing and support services to help thousands of families and individuals thrive.  

Founded in 1998 by a team of committed individuals, the organization works to provide a higher quality of life for Bronx residents.  The first Chairman of the Board, Mr. Michael Nunez, passed away in 2004.  His philosphy "to provide a better quality of life for all people in the Bronx" continues today through the organization's dedicated leadership and staff.

Jenny Rivera, MSW, Chief Executive Officer

Appointed CEO in 2017, Jenny has been a leader with Aguila since 2014. Jenny is a committed social worker/administrator with more than 20 years of direct service practice in homeless services, mental health, HIV/AIDS and domestic violence, and extensive experience in non-profit program management, operations, financial management, and fundraising. With her strong leadership skills and commitment to the Bronx community, Ms. Rivera also mentors social workers and other professionals entering the fields of human services and education.
